Exposure Reporting is the REMIT reporting of a market participant’s future market positions resulting from wholesale energy trading, together with relevant generation and consumption forecasts where required, in order to give ACER an overview of the participant’s exposure in electricity and natural gas markets.

Exposure Reporting is a new REMIT reporting obligation for larger market participants with relevant annual positions of 600 GWh or more in electricity or gas. It does not concern each individual transaction, but an aggregated view of future positions.
